The movie «Quiet Family Life» was shot by a young film director Matvei Zhivov. This is his second work. His first work – a short film «The Letter» (Film Company Telesto production), was demonstrated on many international festivals including the 60th Cannes Film Festival. The award of Road-Island Film Festival, the award of Barbados International Film Festival, the award of New York Film Festival «Picturestart», the award of Short Film Festival in Miami and the award of Short Film Festival in Jaipur.

«Quiet Family Life» is the first film shot by the new efficient digital movie camera Red One. There are only about 100 cameras like this in the world. And this one was specially delivered from Los Angeles for Film Company Telesto. Red One has all production advantages of digital equipment and has a very good picture quality – the quality which equals original film cameras. The first directors who worked with unique camera Red One were famous Piter Jackson («The Lord of the Rings») and Steve Soderbergh («The Ocean’s 13»). Timur Bikmambetov («Night-watch») shot his first Hollywood movie by the camera Red One also. 

Synopsis:

Two families, living next to each other in a cottage compound in Moscow countryside, are happy and respectable. Every morning husbands, Gleb and Oleg – young top managers of a big manufacturing company, leave for work. Their wives, Maria and Inessa, are busy with housework. Nothing seems to interfere with quiet family life of the couples until once a strange and mysterious new maid, Nura by name, appears in one of the households...
