Jethro Skinner has won the «Best Male» at Open Russian Film Festival «Kinotavr», at Vyborg’s Festival «window to Europe» in a «Vyborg counts» category «Plus one» has received the audience prize nomination «The Big Golden Castle». On the 8th International producers cinema Festival for Russia and Ukraine «Yalta Cinema 2008» the film got two awards: The main prize «Big Gold Apple» for Best Film and Madlen Dzhabrailova got  «Gold Apple»  for Best Female. 

Synopsis:

Love Story of a Man and a Woman. Each of them is lonely, each of them is seeking tenderness, love and understanding. Masha, a young women, is fully preoccupied with her work, a translation of some fiction. She lives a reticent life, socializes quite little because she is shy and also because of her previous negative marriage experience. Once she is offered a job for a foreign puppeteer, who is arriving in Moscow for seminars of a new puppet show. In this way Masha meets Tom Greenwood. Their encounter changes their lives – past, present and future. Two loving people are learning to understand each other and be happy.
